Privacy policy

Enshrouded Guides is an independent fan guide. It has no user accounts, comments, newsletter or forms, and we never ask for your name or email address. Two outside services handle data when you visit: Cloudflare delivers the pages and Adsterra supplies advertising on some pages. We do not run analytics scripts.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP addresses, browser type and requested URLs to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how it handles that data.

Advertising

The home page and every guide carry one ad unit from Adsterra, labeled "Advertisement", below the introduction. When your browser window is wider than 640 pixels it is a native ad; at 640 pixels or narrower it is a 300×250 banner. The About page, this policy and the error page never load an ad.

Once loaded, Adsterra and the advertising partners it works with may use cookies or similar identifiers, your IP address, browser and device details, the page you are reading and your interactions with ads to select, deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud. We do not receive the cookies or identifiers Adsterra uses. Selecting an ad takes you to the advertiser's site, which has its own policy. See the Adsterra privacy policy.

Your choices

The site does not offer its own cookie or consent setting, and it does not read Global Privacy Control signals. Ads load the same way for every visitor. You can still limit them in your browser:

• block third-party cookies or clear cookies for this site in your browser settings;
• use a content blocker. Every guide remains fully readable without ads.

Guides link to Steam, Keen Games and community sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Requests and changes

We do not keep a visitor database. Delivery logs are held by Cloudflare and advertising data by Adsterra and its partners. Their linked policies explain how to request access, correction or deletion, or to object. Depending on where you live, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

When our data practices change, we update this page and the date at the top before the change goes live.
