Enshrouded Eternal Spell Locations

Eternal spells are the versions you can cast without spending spell ammo. Enshrouded 1.0 raises them to 22 tier 7 spells and makes them upgradeable. Here is how they work, how you get one in the current Early Access build, and what we know about 1.0.

Short answer

An Eternal spell costs mana but no spell ammo. In 1.0 the tier 7 version of a spell is its Eternal version, there are 22 of them, and you can upgrade them with perks like weapons and armor Keen Games.

Where each 1.0 Eternal spell comes from is not known yet. In Early Access your first one is an Eternal Ice Bolt from the Alchemist's quest An Eternal Spell community source.

What an Eternal spell is

Normal spells are cast from a staff and use up staff charges as well as mana. An Eternal spell does not consume spell ammo, so it only costs mana Keen Games. That is why Eternal spells are the late-game goal for mages: you stop running out.

What changes in 1.0

From the September 23 combat post Keen Games:

Keen did not say whether the 22 include versions of the nine new spells (Mana Drain, Entangle, Pillar of Flames, Blizzard, Ball Lightning and the four summons). We will know at launch.

How you get Eternal spells in Early Access

This section describes the current Early Access build, before 1.0. It comes from the community-run Enshrouded Wiki community source, checked on October 1, 2026; we have not verified it in-game, and 1.0 may change it.

If you are playing Early Access now, recipe costs and station names may have moved in later patches. Check the wiki page's history before farming materials.

1.0 Eternal spell locations

None confirmed yet Open. Once 1.0 is out we will add a table here with every tier 7 Eternal spell, whether it drops, sits in a chest or is crafted, and the exact place or recipe. A spell gets a row only after it has been found in the release build.

Eternal arrows change too

Archers get the same treatment Keen Games: all Eternal arrows become upgradeable with perks, and three new ones are added: Eternal Fire Arrow, Eternal Shock Arrow and Eternal Bone Arrow.
